The Delaware Park Racetrack, the only thoroughbred racing track in Delaware, is famous for hosting races up to 1 ½ miles long. It opened on June 26, 1937.
How do I get to the Delaware Park Racetrack?
The Delaware Park Race Track at 777 Delaware Park Blvd in Wilmington is 2 miles from the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana hotel. Exit the hotel and head west toward Continental Drive then turn right onto Continental Drive. Turn Left onto DE-58W for 0.6 mi and continue straight onto Delaware Park Drive. The racetrack will be on the right.
