Wedding, Reception & Hotel Stay
My husband and I decided to have both the ceremony and the reception in one place and BOY are we happy we did. More importantly, we’re ecstatic we chose Christiana Hilton. The facility is clean, the staff is pleasant and we had no issues. We stayed 3 nights, 4 days. The Bridal Suite is AMAZING!! I truly wanted to move in. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

The Sales Manager Leah Markiewicz was an absolute gem. She was very pleasant, extremely accomodating and exceptionally thorough. I'm so glad we selected Christiana Hilton as it made life so much easier. I had a "Day of Coordinator", but really didn't need her. Alfredo (Butler) not only acted as a Butler (Head Chef), but he was a coordinator ensuring my special day was very special. He even directed during the rehearsal dinner making sure the wedding party knew where to go and stand during the ceremony. He made sure I didn't need for anything and together, he and Leah met all our needs plus more!

"We were married on April 25, 2015 at the Christiana Hilton in Newark, Delaware. The hotel is really beautiful and the ballroom was decorated so beautifully on our day! All of the servers and bartenders were very nice and did such a wonderful job serving us! The bridal suite was so beautiful and amazing! There were so many special touches to make us feel treated like royalty! Leah, Jennifer, and Alfredo went above and beyond and we were blessed to have our dream wedding day come true! "I have received SO many compliments on how beautiful the Hilton was, how attentive the waitstaff were to my guests, and how smoothly everything ran. Of course, I also got so many compliments on the meal—one of our guests told us it was the best catered meal he had everexperienced. I got many comments that the steak was cooked to perfection (which I had been nervous about since preparing so many steaks at once makes it hard to please everyone on cooking standards!) I also got many compliments about quality of the cocktail hour appetizers, especially the lamb lollipops!"

"We got married at the Hilton on June 27, 2015. My husband and I knew right away we wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and a reception at a hotel as most of our guests were out of town. When we first saw the Hilton we knew it was the place for us, for both the ceremony and reception. We absolutely fell in love with how beautiful it was. The food was incredible, every single guest told us how much they enjoyed cocktail hour and dinner. The bar was amazing, the bartenders did a wonderful job & our signature cocktail was everyone's favorite!"

Our wedding was such an amazing event! We had a lot of compliments about how beautiful the place was, along with how delicious the food tasted. Everyone was impressed with all aspects of our wedding and so were we. Our ceremony was beautiful and our reception was absolutely gorgeous!!! Words cannot express how happy we were with the staff and services. All of our family and friends are still talking about how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed our wedding!

Perfect Wedding Reception
I recently had my reception at the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana, and I could not have been more pleased! The entire staff from the front desk, butler, chef, servers, etc. took much care to ensure excellent service from the first visit through the morning after our event. Most of the credit goes to Leah Markiewicz, who handled all the details of the event and did a beautiful job. I highly recommend the hotel for any events. We were also pleased with the cleanliness of our room, and the bed was very comfortable too! All in all a perfect time! Thank you to all the staff at the Hilton!
